The 2015 Australian MTBO Championships were held on Victoria’s Surf Coast over the weekend of 6-8 November. Just under 200 people took part in at least one of the four events making it the largest Australian MTBO Champs yet. The area used was all new for MTBO, or any type of Orienteering.
There was a warm-up event held at the You Yangs Regional Park on Friday afternoon. On Saturday morning the Sprint Champs were held at Torquay followed by the Middle Distance Champs at Anglesea in the afternoon. The Long was held on Sunday morning at Paddy’s Swamp near Bambra, NW from Anglesea.
